FAQs & Financials
Do you offer sliding-scale payment?
This varies by CCC practitioner. Please contact the office for further information.
What is your cancellation policy?
CCC believes that the services we provide are important, and when patients cancel late or miss appointments, other patients are deprived of access to help. Therefore, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice, so that we have time to contact other patients waiting for appointments. Notwithstanding extenuating circumstances discussed with the individual provider, we will typically charge a cancellation fee of $60.00, which is a small portion of the charge for a service hour. Charges for missed sessions or late cancellations are out-of-pocket expenses and are due no later than the next session. Our psychologists will review with you all policies and procedures, at intake, to ensure informed consent.
What about confidentiality?
The relationship between therapist and patient is protected by law, and your information cannot be disclosed without consent. However, we are required by law to protect vulnerable populations. The law requires reporting – when there is suspicion of child abuse and/or neglect – to the NH Division of Children, Youth and Families. Also, abuse of disabled adults and the elderly must be reported to the NH Division of Elder and Adult Services. Our psychologists will review all policies and procedures at the intake to ensure informed consent.
